Hilti Introduces SFH 144-A Cordless Hammer Drill/DriverFeaturing CPC lithium-ion battery technology

TULSA, Okla. – February 15, 2008 – With a high power to weight ratio, the SFH 144-A 14-volt CPC Hammer Drill/Driver features Hilti Cordless Power Care (CPC) lithium-ion battery technology to give you the power of an 18-volt with the weight of many 12-volt tools.

The SFH 144-A CPC's powerful, high-torque motor provides up to 609 inch-pounds of torque and can deliver up to 34,200 blows per minute in masonry block. This performance is due to the 100 percent all-metal gears, the hammer drill/driver's high-efficiency motor and the drop-resistant glass-fiber reinforced casing which provides protection against the toughest job site conditions.

The SFH 144-A CPC features Hilti CPC technology lithium ion batteries. They include: a state of charge indicator, which increases productivity for the operator; individual cell management that delivers reliable power for the life of the battery; robust cells and drop resistant housings, which provide the quality needed to stand up to jobsite conditions.

The Hilti SFH 144-A CPC is covered under Hilti Lifetime Service, which helps reduce unplanned repair costs. Productivity requires quality tools. Quality tools need to be durable to hold up at the jobsite. Battery life is especially important with cordless tools, therefore Hilti Lifetime Service provides for unlimited battery replacements for up to two years including wear and tear. SFH 144-A CPC tools and chargers will also covered for two years against wear at no cost including shipping.*
