Nafco Introduces Four Vinyl Products to Better Living Collection

March 11, 2008 -- Natural and architectural materials inspire Nafco by Tarkett's four spring introductions for the Better Living Collection: Kyrah, Valley Stone and Classic Slate luxury vinyl tile in a 12 x 12-inch format and Urban Oak luxury vinyl plank.

The patterns, for use in light commercial and residential applications, imitate stained concrete, stone, slate and hardwood.

"With our new collections, we help home decorators achieve a sleek, clean, sophisticated ambiance that enhances contemporary décor and nevertheless complements traditional looks," said Erica Hubbard, Nafco's marketing director. "Along with fashion, our customers, some with young families, others with streams of guests, look for comfort and ease of maintenance, which our luxury vinyl tiles and planks offer, in contrast to the hard surfaces they resemble."

Hubbard continued, "We know that product safety and its relationship to imported goods is a key issue with people these days. Our customers appreciate that Nafco floors are made in the USA."Kyrah, in seven colors, is reminiscent of stained concrete.

"Once thought of as a basic construction material," noted Ashley Baker, product manager, "we see concrete in all the best places, from handsome countertops and decks and patios to floors."

Kyrah also creates a ceramic tile effect. The pattern comes in Steel--a rich gray seen on fashion runways and in decorator showcase houses, alike.

It is also available in Chalk, Tundra, Basin, Rust, Copper and Sepia. Valley Stone, with the realistic look of variegated minerals, combines the visual impact of river rock, marble and ceramic tile. The colors--Sonoma, Napa, Somerset, Bisque, Linen and Rhone--range from saturated cranberry and lustrous blue to calming neutrals.
