New Hilti TE 2 Rotary Hammer Drills Make Quick Work of Concrete
TULSA, Okla. – Built to withstand harsh jobsite conditions, the powerful new Hilti TE 2 Rotary Hammer Drills efficiently transform 650 watts of motor power into superior drilling performance.
Ideal for a variety of applications, including installation work on concrete and masonry, as well as drilling in metal, wood and gypsum board or plastic, TE 2 rotary hammers offer high drilling performance over the entire drilling rage of 3/16- to 3/4-inch. With a performance to weight ratio unique to its class, the TE 2 weighs only 5.3 pounds, making overhead work easier and reducing fatigue. With a compact, ergonomic design, TE 2 rotary hammers offer exceptionally high working comfort and convenience.
Available in two models, TE 2 and TE 2-S, these rotary hammers are highly efficient in drilling anchor holes and through holes in concrete and masonry. In addition to full hammering power, the TE 2-S also features an innovative, fine hammering setting for drilling in fragile, brittle materials. This technology reduces impact energy by about 70 percent while drilling at full speed, enabling the user to drill neat holes in ceramics and masonry. With constant motor cooling, the TE 2-S is designed for extended use in fine-hammering applications.

TE 2 Rotary Hammer Drill
A rotary hammer can perform only as well as the quality of the drill bits used. Hilti therefore goes to great lengths to ensure that its power tools and insert tools such as drill bits are developed as a perfectly matched system. The latest innovation from Hilti in this area is the unique TE-C3X hammer drill bit line, the world's first hammer drill bits to incorporate gradient technology for higher drilling performance and even longer life.
Like all Hilti tools, TE 2 rotary hammers are covered under Hilti Lifetime Service and will be serviced quickly and reliably, if needed, with no additional cost for two years. During the lifetime repair cost limit, which begins after the two-year no cost period, the tool will have a maximum repair cost of no greater than 30 percent of the tool's then-current list price. Once the tool is repaired, it receives an additional six months of no cost service. The lifetime manufacturer's warranty covers the tool against manufacturer defects for the life of the tool.*
