When it comes to keypad design, the Armada system is rich in distinctive alternatives. Armada seamlessly coordinates with existing devices in a home, in addition to complementing virtually any decor, from the most traditional to the most contemporary. Consumers can select from Leviton's award-winning Acenti® or Decora® platforms or from the system's new Armada form factor. Combined, these lines are available in a wide variety of colors, in matte or glossy finishes, and can be installed separately or ganged in combination with other coordinating devices.

When keypads options are combined with a choice of R-G-B LEDs, more than 4,000 color choice selections result, for a wide range of exciting possibilities. Consumers can specify load status as ON or OFF by matching LED color choice options to the circuit's status. At the heart of the Armada system is its open architecture Lighting Controller. Designed to meet the day to day needs of today's sophisticated lifestyles, the Armada Controller affords powerful programming, unmatched reliability and unrivalled flexibility. The Armada Controller is equipped with four on-board RS-232 ports, including one Ethernet and three virtual communications ports that enable installers to easily link multiple home systems and operations. Integration is easy with pre-configured command sets that are included with the programming software. Functioning separately from the power supply, the Armada Controller can operate hundreds of keypads throughout the home, with 120 keypad-control capacity for each power supply unit in the system.

Easy to program and easy to install, Armada eliminates the complexities of whole-house wiring by minimizing the number of wire runs to connected loads. A centralized enclosure consolidates wiring and AC modules which control all the home's switching, dimming, and motor loads. Three size options -- a 16-load, 24-load and 32-load enclosure -- let homeowners choose the right size for their home's square footage and electrical infrastructure. Enclosures install quickly and easily, mounting to the home's 16" on-center studs, and can be linked with additional units to match the scale and size of the project.

From ceiling fans to landscape lighting, pool pumps to chandeliers, Armada's power supplies and modules can control nearly every conceivable electrical load in the home.
