CMI Adds Batten Trim to MiraTEC Product Line

March, 2009 -- The latest addition to CMI’s MiraTEC® Treated Exterior Composite Trim product line is the new 2”-wide MiraTEC batten. Builders and remodelers are using MiraTEC batten to create the authentic board and batten look that complements any exterior cladding or home style. With a clear cedar wood grain texture on one side and a contemporary, smooth finish on the other, the distinctive vertical style is perfect for adding charm and dimension to any home.

Factory-primed on all four sides with a low VOC primer that contains a mildewicide, 2” MiraTEC batten offers one of the most cost-effective ways to provide homeowners with added architectural details and enhanced curb appeal.

The new, 16’-long batten trim is available in 4/4 and 5/4 thicknesses. CMI offers the 4/4 boards in 12 pcs/bundle (336 pcs/unit) and the 5/4 boards in 9 pcs/bundle (252 pcs/unit). The durable, low maintenance exterior trim provides outstanding moisture, rot and termite resistance as well.
