ORLANDO (February 7, 2007) - KitchenAid has given an increasingly popular appliance option a dual role in the kitchen. Its new slow cook warming drawer, part of the new Architect® Series II appliance collection, will be available in the second quarter in 24-, 27- and 30-inch models. All are approved for both indoor and outdoor use.
"When developing our new Architect® Series II appliances, we were very focused on design and performance enhancements that would further enhance the cooking and entertaining experience," said Brian Maynard, Brand Marketing Director. "Whether preparing a simple meal or a multi-course dinner party, whether indoors or outdoors, this new warming drawer offers tremendous flexibility."
In addition to the new slow cook function, the warming drawer features a sensor temperature control to regulate temperature and ensure that selected temperature is reached. A humidity slide control enables moisture to be sealed in or released for optimal conditions suitable to the type of food being warmed. Other features include an exterior power indicator light and dual-position racks that allow for the flexibility of cooking different types of foods simultaneously.
Available in a stainless steel finish or panel ready models, the warming drawers will carry suggested retail prices of $699 to $999.
