Fast and Easy Nail Gun Installation
A member of Benjamin Obdyke's Ridge Ventilation family of products, Rapid Ridge quickly rolls onto the roof over a cut slot, and can be easily installed by using any pneumatic roofing nail gun - a special adapter is not required. Its see-through hinge permits easy alignment over the roof ridge, and its compression-resistant design results in a smooth, straight finish. With no end cap requirement, Rapid Ridge saves installation time, allowing workers to shingle over. With included 1 3/4-in. coil nails, it also saves on material costs.
The lightest ridge vent on a roll, Rapid Ridge is available in three sizes - Rapid Ridge Standard, Rapid Ridge 7, and Rapid Ridge Metric. The nail gun-able Standard version is designed for use with asphalt and fiberglass shingles. It comes in 20-ft. and 50-ft. length rolls, each 10 1/2 in. wide and 5/8 in. thick, with a 12.5 in2. of net free area per linear ft.
Rapid Ridge 7 is a narrow ridge vent on a roll for use with cedar, flat tile, slate, asphalt, and fiber glass shingles. It comes in 20-ft. long rolls, and is 7 in. wide and 5/8 in. thick, with a 12.5 in2. of net free area per linear ft. Nail gun-able Rapid Ridge Metric is for metric asphalt and fiberglass shingles. It is 6,1 m (20-ft.) long by 29, 21 cm (11 1/2 in.) wide and 1,59 cm (5/8 in.) thick, with a net free area of 265 cm2/1n m (12.5 in2./lin ft.).
