Eagle Roofing Products Florida LLC ("Eagle"), a leading manufacturer of quality concrete roof tile, began production in its Sumterville, Florida plant on December 27, 2006. Along with the new manufacturing facility, Eagle also plans to open two Design Centers in the coming months. The plant and Design Centers are key investments in Eagle's efforts to increase the availability of concrete roof tile and better serve building industry professionals in the Florida market.

Local Manufacturing Facility
Measuring 228,000 square feet, the new Florida plant is located on more than 50 acres in the city of Sumterville. At full capacity, the plant will be operating four production lines capable of producing more than 160,000 squares of concrete tiles a month, roughly enough tiles to cover and protect 60,000 homes each year. The new manufacturing plant is currently producing many of Eagle's popular tile profiles in colors and blends desired by Florida and Southeast customers.

Local Sales & Customer Service Teams
With the addition of the Florida plant, Eagle expanded its coverage of the tile roofing market to include the east coast. "The goal for Eagle's new Florida Sales and Customer Service Teams is to be the service leader in this market. Local Design Centers
In addition to the new manufacturing plant, Eagle Roofing Products plans to open two new Design Centers specifically for building professionals and their clients. The Design Centers will offer roofers, builders, architects and homeowners the opportunity to view the company's regional product line on-site in a user-friendly environment. Eagle is the only concrete roof tile manufacturer to offer this aspect of service to its customers.
