ORLANDO, FLORIDA (FEBRUARY 7, 2007) - Throughout its 105-year history, Hansgrohe has transformed its love affair with water into memorable styles and innovations that reverberate through worldwide bath and shower designs. For over a quarter of a century, Hansgrohe has made a similar impact on the design of kitchen faucets. The 2006 launches of Allegro and Allegro Gourmet are the next steps in Hansgrohe's kitchen revolution.

With Allegro's high spout, users are able to maneuver large pots and pans around the sink area easily.
Many of today's consumers share a desire to have a distinct and user-friendly kitchen. After all, the kitchen is where family and friends gather and where dinner-party guests gravitate. It earns considerable attention in new homes and with renovation projects. Allegro and Allegro Gourmet match this enthusiasm for the kitchen with attention to design detail, the most-demanded functionality, and the type of care and quality that characterizes Hansgrohe products.
Allegro: With Allegro's high spout, users are able to maneuver large pots and pans around the sink area easily. Yet Allegro delivers one key difference with the flattened, more parallel arc of its spout: extra clearance. Because the spout spans parallel with the sink versus pointing into it, users have extra space for filling pots, cleaning large kitchen items and washing foods for preparation.
Allegro's pullout spray also boasts a unique one-touch button that gives users a high level of flexibility. With a built-in spray-lock, the button allows users to just click for hands-free use of the full and needle sprays.
Allegro Gourmet: The elegant arc of Allegro Gourmet blends best-of-breed form with functionality that is very kitchen- and user-friendly. The pullout spray comes out in a downward motion toward the sink, making everyday tasks, like preparing food and cleaning pans, effortless. Plus, the high-than-normal spout adds ample clearance when users need to manipulate large cookware in the sink.
Allegro Gourmet also features two spray modes, full and needle, that are controlled with an ergonomic button on the backside of the pullout spray. Designed to ensure ease-of-use and comfort, users simply hold the pullout spray in their hand and press the button when they want to use the needle spray. To quickly switch back to normal spray, users can simply relax their hand. Using the button with either the palm or fingers is easy because of its user-friendly size and smooth operation.
Shared Innovations, Shared Functionality: Allegro and Allegro Gourmet incorporate the type of quality and technology that have made Hansgrohe a legendary innovator in the industry. Though each faucet boasts a unique design, all of them share important features, technology and innovations from Hansgrohe:
"Hansgrohe has always been the industry leader in showering, and with our new kitchen faucets, we're continuing to expand our design and technology in kitchens," states Russ Wheeler, president of Hansgrohe-North America. "Allegro and Allegro Gourmet have a universally appealing design as well as the extra features that make them uniquely Hansgrohe."
