Marvin Ultimate Swinging Screen
For homeowners who want to let nature's beauty in while keeping uninvited guests - such as insects - out, the Marvin Ultimate Swinging Screen is an innovative solution. In an industry-first, the Ultimate Swinging Screen has no visible fasteners and features panels with traditional shadow lines to create the classic millwork look for which Marvin is known. With an easy-to-install Storm Insert Option - comprised of aluminum-surrounded glass panel - the Marvin Ultimate Swinging Screen makes it simple to prepare a home for any season.
The Ultimate Swinging Screen is a perfect match with Marvin's Rectangular and Arch Top Wood and Clad Inswing French Doors, which are all available in nineteen clad colors, further allowing homeowners to create the perfect first impression. Marvin invites homeowners to put on the finishing touches by selecting from six screen mesh types and four finishes on exclusively designed exterior handles.
Additional features of the Marvin Ultimate Swinging Screen that make it beautiful, durable and easy to operate include:
New 2 1/4" Swinging French Doors
To help homeowners make their grand entrance, Marvin is introducing new 2 1/4" French Doors with standard sizes stretching 8' and 10' tall to accommodate the growing ceiling heights in today's homes. With a number of customizable features - ranging from inswing or outswing, the wood used on the interior and exterior of the door, a clad option available in 19 colors and a variety of hardware materials to shape (rectangular and arch top) - Marvin has provided all the tools for homeowners to decadently or simply match the décor of their homes.
Exceptional performance and solid security were central goals in the design of the new 2 1/4" French Doors, as evidenced in the superior design pressure ratings, American Architectural Manufacturing Association (AMMA) 2605-05 certified clad finish and locking points at the handle, header and sill. Additional standard and customizable features of this new offering include:
New Raised- and Flat-Panel Standard Options on Marvin French and Commercial Doors
Whether the goal is to create a traditional or modern look, Marvin's raised-panel and flat-panel standard offerings make it easier. With performance in mind, the panels are crafted using an exterior grade medium density fiberboard (MDF) substrate to eliminate expansion and contraction common with solid wood panels. Also, many of the clad raised- and flat-panel doors meet Window and Door Manufacturer Association (WDMA) certifications. For additional protection, the panels are glazed into a silicone bed to enhance resistance to air and water filtration.
The following doors and configurations are now part of the standard offerings, which are available in bare and primed wood and 19 clad exterior colors:
