LAS VEGAS (May 8, 2007) - When remodeling the kitchen, savvy homeowners demand the best in a gas cooktop. Whether cooking gourmet meals or just warming up leftovers, homeowners want the quality of a commercial-grade cooktop without its usual bulkiness. Wind Crest™, a leading manufacturer of cooktops and ventilation systems, has created the perfect balance between form and function with its elegant line of gas drop-in cooktops.

Gas Cooktop
Designed to preserve precious cabinet space, Wind Crest's gas drop-in cooktops are available in both a 30- and 36-inch width and feature a stainless steel finish. The impressive 30-inch five-burner model provides the customer with more than 63,000 BTUs of power - a Wind Crest™ exclusive. Other gas cooktop models available include a 30-inch four-burner, with a total of 51,000 BTUs, and a 36-inch five-burner, with more than 69,000 BTUs.
All Wind Crest gas cooktops feature sealed brass burner ports for durability and more precise flame control when cooking. In addition, Wind Crest gas burners feature single point electronic ignition and re-ignition systems. All 5-burner models feature a dual center burner that provides heat outputs ranging from 400 to 18,500 BTUs, ideal for everything from simmering and holding your favorite sauce to searing or stir-frying. The continuous surface grate design allows the user to easily slide a pot from one burner to the next without lifting. The grate fingers are generously spaced to safely support all sizes of cookware anywhere on the surface, from an oversized stockpot to a small pot just 4-inches in diameter. In addition, all Wind Crest gas cooktops feature heat-resistant solid die-cast knobs for durability.
With the goal of providing consumers with Elegant Cooking Solutions™ to enhance the cooking experience, a Wind Crest gas cooktop appeals to consumers that demand high performance with unobtrusive styling. Boasting a unique, overall low profile, these elegant cooktops rise a marginal 3/4-inch above the countertop for a more integrated appearance. In addition, the cooktops extend less than 3-inches below the countertop to allow for more storage.
