The four-piece bath/shower features a single pivot point installation system making it a snap to interlock the two end walls with the back wall. The wall clips, in turn, provide an audible click that notifies the installer that they have been installed in the proper position - one that is snug and water-tight. "Imagine the time you save on the construction site by not having to use a tube of caulk on each installation," said Jelinek. "Simply align the wall, pivot it into place and listen for the snap - that's it."
Additionally, because the Accord bath/shower is made of lightweight yet durable Vikrell components, one installer is all that is needed to carry these components around the job site and easily move them into place during any phase of construction.
Priced competitively for homeowners with modest incomes, the Accord bath/shower achieves the look of glazed tile and authentic grout lines without any of the installation or maintenance challenges of a true tiled-in environment. This appearance is created by molding the tile and grout pattern into the highgloss Vikrell material, making it incredibly durable and easy to care for. The finished product is smooth and shiny and simulates a hand-finished installation with natural randomness to the tile pattern.
