Powerful Ventilation for Professional-style Cooktops
The WP29, for use indoors, features a seamless, welded design providing a flawless appearance; a 304 stainless steel finish gives the WP29 lasting quality. A deep hood enclosure ensures excellent capture of smoke and odors, while the specially coated silver ion stainless steel makes cleaning effortless.
Unique to the WP29 are Evolution™ baffle filters, which combine the performance of baffle filters with the efficiency of mesh for the ultimate in filtration. Also unique to the WP29 are concealed, infinitely adjustable controls that remember the last setting used, making operation simple and easy.
The WP29 is flexibly designed for vertical or horizontal ducting and is available with 600 CFM and 1,200 CFM internal blowers or four in-line and four external blower options. The WP29 is available in six widths, including 30, 36, 42, 48, 54 and 60 inches, and two depths, including 24 and 27 inches. An optional non-ducted recirculation kit is available for hoods up to 48 inches wide.
Perfect for use with covered patios or lanai areas, the WPD29 features marine grade 316 stainless steel for a lasting finish and a seamless, welded design to provide a flawless appearance. The large, 27-inch-deep hood is designed to handle the heat and size of outdoor gas grills.
Marine-grade controls resist the effects of extreme heat and moisture, while an optional hood cover (recommended in saltwater coastal areas) protects the finish in harsh environments. Optional corrosion-resistant stainless steel soffit flue and backsplash accessories also are available for the WPD29. The hood's fully enclosed design incorporates stainless steel baffle filters with an extra deep bottom cover for unsurpassed capture of smoke and steam.
The WPD29 features the P12D 1,200 CFM blower, which is specially treated to resist corrosion. Additional blower options include an 1,100 CFM in-line blower and two external blowers featuring 1,200 and 1,500 CFM. The WPD29 is available in two widths, 42 and 54 inches.
Both the WP29 and WPD29 feature 50-watt halogen lamps for brilliant surface lighting and Heat Sentry™, which detects excessive heat and automatically adjusts the blower speed. As with all Best by Broan range hoods, the WP29 and WPD29 are HVI-certified (Home Ventilating Institute), ensuring the homeowner that the hoods meet or exceed their performance claims.
