HansonTileStore automatically enters customer orders into Hanson's internal customer order management system and provides the customer with their order number by e-mail. Project managers can choose to have all order confirmations sent to partners on the project, so everyone stays apprised of the tile order.
The system guides customers through the tile selection process by asking them to select a pick-up location, tile profile, tile color, product quantities and billing information in easy-to-read screens that feature product photos. Its simplicity comes from its being project-based, allowing customers to sort projects by project name, project number, roofer/builder, county or price quote.
After each order has been entered, the system sends the customer a confirmation e-mail, followed by an e-mail containing their order number. Each order can be released to the work site by only one person associated with the project, a feature that will help to eliminate work site fraud.
Customers can request order modifications or cancellations via HansonTileStore, and all such requests will be followed up by a call from a Hanson customer service representative.
