Powered by electromagnetic energy, which generates almost instant heat, the new models feature nine level settings and a “performance boost” function that speeds boiling times. Pan size-detection technology automatically adjusts to focus heat only on the cooking vessel, and a hot-surface indicator light warns users of lingering heat after the burner has been turned off.
