NO MATTER how large the home or the number of closets, one room always seems to pose a chronic storage challenge: the bathroom. A solution is to add free-standing storage that echoes the look of an old-fashioned doctor's cabinet. This do-it-yourself version includes the glass-fronted display space, generous storage capacity and bright white finish of high-end bathroom cabinets but without the expense.
The project is built in two parts: the storage unit below and the display cabinet above. The cabinets are assembled and finished separately, stacked and fastened together when complete.
The assembled cabinet measures 68 inches tall by 24 inches wide by 14 inches deep.
The Bathroom Cabinet plan, No. 915, is $9.95 and includes step- by-step instructions with photos, full-size traceable patterns, construction diagrams, a cutting layout, a complete shopping list and cutting schedule and a toll-free help line for project questions.
