TULSA, Okla. – February 8, 2008 – Specifically designed for hand-held dry coring in a variety of base materials, the Hilti DD 110-D Dry Diamond Coring tool, in conjunction with the Hilti HDMU diamond core bits and the Hilti VCD 50 vacuum, achieves a unique level of coring performance and operator safety.

Ideal for dry coring in block, brick, sandstone and unreinforced concrete, the Hilti DD 110-D's new casing and grip design help ensure exceptional operating comfort. The compact and lightweight design additionally helps reduce user fatigue. The slim tool design also allows access in hard to reach areas, making it ideal for overhead applications.
With a powerful 1,600-watt motor and two-speed gearing, the Hilti DD 110-D provides optimum speed and high motor performance in every situation. Additional comfort through virtually dustless coring is achieved when the Hilti DD 110-D is combined with the Hilti HDMU core bits and the Hilti VCD 50 vacuum.
With wider spaced segments and an optional starting aid, the Hilti HDMU core bits help increase speed and efficiency. The Hilti HDMU provides one universal core bit specification for all dry coring applications and its solid barrel keeps dust to a minimum. A vacuum cleaner and dust extraction head is required for bit cooling and increasing operator comfort.
Under Hilti Lifetime Service, if repairs are ever needed on the DD 110-D, it will be serviced quickly and reliably with no additional cost for two years. During the lifetime repair cost limit, which begins after the two-year no cost period, the tool will have a maximum repair cost of no greater than 30 percent of a new tool's list price. Once the tool is repaired, it receives an additional six months of no cost service. The lifetime manufacturer's warranty covers the tool against manufacturer defects for the life of the tool.*
