Setting a new industry standard, the Azek Edge is made with proprietary technology that creates boards that are S4S - or Surfaced 4 Sides, meaning that all sides are uniformly finished. The smooth, sealed edges of each board ensure it will stay cleaner in the dealer yard, on the jobsite, and will be easier to clean if necessary. It will be available on April 1, 2009.
The Azek Edge is produced using strict manufacturing methods that provide precise angle cuts on the edges of each board. This exacting manufacturing process also creates boards with the tightest width tolerances in the pvc trim industry. Azek Edge Cellular PVC Trim
The Azek Edge will apply to all Azek Trim profiles and Azek Cornerboards in both Traditional (smooth) and rustic Frontier texture. Along with trim installations, it’s also great as a deck trim, because of the sealed edges and precision cuts.
Azek Trim, the only cellular pvc trim with an ICC code listing (ESR-1074), can be custom milled, routed, turned on a lathe, and heat-formed. Azek Trim has excellent paint adhesion although it does not require paint for protection. It resists moisture and insects, will not rot, warp or decay, and has a 25 year warranty.
