May, 2009 -- Memories of good times, keepsakes we've cherished over the years, fads and styles we happily recall from our childhoods: All of these can provide a sense of security as well as a frame of reference in our fast-moving, everyday lives.
In collaboration with the international design studio Phoenix Design (Stuttgart and Tokyo), Hansgrohe celebrates these intimate connections to our past with the Classic, or C, Series from its World of Styles offering of bathroom faucets, showers and accessories. Blending traditional and modern geometrical elements, the Classic style reflects our longing for more time to contemplate and appreciate the beautiful and personally satisfying aspects of our lives.

Hansgrohe's Radiance C AIR Showerhead
Broad assortment: The latest additions to the World of Styles Classic Series are the Hansgrohe Raindance C Showers, which encompass the following items:
With its dynamic, precise lines and bell-shaped downward progression that terminates in a soft ring, the stylistic elements of the Raindance C Handshower echo those of the C Series faucets, while also complementing the look of the overhead showers in the Raindance C offering. The gently rounded edges of the shower-spray handle reflect a traditional style, while also offering the user the thoroughly modern conveniences of safe and ergonomic handling.
Hansgrohe's emphasis on harmony in design is also evident in the remaining parts of the shower. From the matching Raindance C Wallbar to the design of the metal hose, all parts conform to the same traditional look and feel.
The three largest showerheads — the 300, 240 and 180 — are available in four durable finishes: chrome, oil rub bronze, brushed nickel and the new rubbed bronze. The remainder of the Raindance C offering comes in these four finishes plus polished nickel and polished brass, which are especially appropriate for traditional décors.
Exceptional showering experience: Behind the classic-purist shapes of the entire Raindance C offering are the innovative technologies and know-how of Hansgrohe engineering. The proprietary AIR technology, developed in the Hansgrohe Fluid Stream Laboratory in Schiltach, Germany, adds tiny air bubbles to the water passing through all of the showerheads, as well as the handshower and bodyspray. Rather than the needle-like, "spaghetti" sprays of conventional showers, these showers generously and luxuriantly coat the bather's skin with a voluminous rain of soft, air-infused droplets.
