The Dryer-Ell™

A new dryer duct elbow designed to overcome the run-length reduction consequence found in most building codes for ninety degree turns. With its large radius and smooth interior, the Dryer-Ell dramatically improves airflow efficiency. In a 2006 UL fact finding study, in fact, the Dryer-Ell is shown to be 500% more efficient than the sectioned elbows commonly used in the venting trades today. 2006 International Residential Code has also adopted the advantage of its longer turn radius, thus crediting the ventilation contractor five feet of duct run under section M1502.6.
