- Hy-Lite aluminum fixed windows for new construction applications feature strong, aluminum profiles for structural integrity and frames that are thermally broken by a nonconductive resin for excellent thermal performance
- Aluminum fixed styles include ArchTop™, RoundTop™, Picture, Geometric and Custom Configurations
- Frames are available in white, tan, bronze and clear anodized.
- All aluminum frames are thermally broken (except clear anodized)
- Available with either 2 in. or 3 in. thick blocks
- Hy-Lite offers aluminum framed windows with either a 7/8 in. or 1 3/4 in. nail fin offset (the distance from the nail fin to the exterior surface of the frame)
- Hy-Lite's nail fin aluminum framed windows can be installed into an interior wall
- J-channel frame utilizes Hy-Lite's 2 in. thick blocks
- Only available with a 7/8 in. nail fin offset, this frame has an extended exterior leg to hide any uneven side cuts
- Snap off the nail fins (on request, Hy-Lite will remove the nail fins), shim the window in the opening, and install moulding or drywall to block the window in the opening
- Stucco block frame utilizes Hy-Lite's 2 in. thick blocks (intended for use in block construction)
- The 1 3/4 in. aluminum frame has no nail fin and is used primarily for sidelites, doorlites, and transoms
- Use trim or casing to block the window in the opening
