VISIONS1000 SINGLE HUNG WINDOW111/2006 SELECT VINYL:All structural materials are manufactured from 100% select vinyl and acrylic modifiers to produce one of the strongest, impact-resistant, maintenance-free PVC windows on the market. Titanium dioxide stabilizers provide UV resistance. Compressed, colorfast pellets assure color uniformity through- out the extrusion. Available in White and Tan.FULLY WELDED CONSTRUCTION:State-of-art thermal fusion-welding technology integrates components into one- piece platform construction for greater rigidity, durability, reduced air infiltration and sound transmission.FRAME DESIGN:Multi-chambered extrusion adds strength and superior insulating qualities. Frame depth is 2 9/16". NAILING FIN:An integral part of the frame, the full perimeter nailing fin eliminates the need to add flashing in the field. Full 1 3/16" flashing depth accommodates a wide range of siding thicknesses. Nailing fins can be easily removed for field mulling or stacking of units.SILL:Traditional sloped sill provides exceptional curb appeal while enhancing the total unit performance. SASH:Standard tilt-in sash with easy tilt latches allows for cleaning from the inside.BALANCES: ABlock and Tackle balance system assures smooth operation.EXTENSION JAMBS:Optional clear wood extension jambs are available and packaged for easy field application for 4-9/16" and 6-9/16" walls.GLAZING:Sash and frame are glazed from the exterior with a traditionally profiled bead.
